We really wanted to break our diets...

Instead of ordering overpriced chemically enhanced (as delicious as it may be) pizza, we made our own. Fool proof and SO yummy! Serves 3-4

Dough:

3 Cups Flour

3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Tbsp White Sugar

1 Cup Warm Water (add more as needed if you want to change the consistency, but wait until you've kneaded it thoroughly)

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Keep some extra flour next to you.

Add oil.

Slowly start adding water until the consistency feels nice and doughy.

When you begin kneading it, keep your hands floured. Sprinkle flour on the pan you'll be using as well. I split the dough into pieces for each person so we could make little personal sizes.

Sauce:

1 Medium can crushed tomatoes (we aren't sauce lovers so I didn't make a ton)

Red Pepper Flakes, as desired (it will give the sauce quite a kick)

1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 Tsp Sugar

1 Tsp Minced Garlic

1 Tbsp Parsley (fresh is better, but flakes are good too)

Salt, to taste

Mix all ingredients in pot under low-medium until bubbling.

Toppings as desired. We used:

Salami (because pepperoni tends to be a little strong fresh from the deli)

Mozzarella Cheese (we had a two pound bag in the house because we're freaks about cheese, but about 2/3 cup fits a mini pizza)
